Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania. She is an actor from Romania and Germany. Her most well-known movies include Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Born as the only children of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra got into the showbiz world early and was acting in lead roles on various TV dramas before she was sixteen. In the Oscar-nominated film Downfall her character as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudljunge was also a critically-acclaimed one.
